Watermelon and mint granita



An easy to make, refreshing dessert which can be made with any fruit.  A refreshing chilled drink made from watermelon and mint is perfect for summer and summer parties… I combined with black grape crush. Believe me this black grape crush goes well with watermelon. Must try.



Preparation time – 10 minutes
Setting time 2 to 6 hours

Ingredients:
Watermelon, chopped – 2 cup
Salt to taste
Lemon juice – 1 to 2 Tablespoons
Mint leaves – 4 to 5
Sugar/ honey – 1 to 2 Tablespoons
Black grapes crush – 2 to 3 Tablespoons
Mint spring – for garnishing

Method:
Take mixi zar, blend watermelon, salt, sugar well.  Strain it into a bowl.

Add lemon juice, chopped mint leaves and mix well.

Transfer into a shallow container, cover and freeze for 2 hours.

Scrape out using a fork, again put container in freezer for 2 to 3 hours.

Again Scrape out using a fork.


Take serving glass, pour black grape crush, put scrapped watermelon, garnish with mint spring and serve immediately.
