Fresh Haldi(Turmeric) Mutter Ki Sabji


Preparation Time – 10 minutes
Cooking time – 12 to 15 minutes
Serving – 2

Ingredients:
Green Peas (mutter), boiled – ½ cup
Fresh Turmeric (haldi), peeled, grated – 2 Tablespoons
Ghee – 2 Tablespoons
Cumin seeds – ½ Teaspoon
Cardamom – 2
Dried red chilli – 2
Cashew nuts – 8 to 10
Nutmeg, grated – pinch
Hing (Asafoetida) – ¼ Teaspoon
Curd, whisked – 1 cup
Besan ( Gram flour) – 1 Tablespoon
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder – ¼ Teaspoon
Garam masala – ¼ Teaspoon
Water – ¼ cup

Method:
Heat ghee in kadai, add cumin seeds, dried red chilli, cardamom, grated fresh turmeric, hing. Sauté for 1 minute.




Add cashew nuts, sauté for 30 seconds.





Add green peas, mix well. Cook for 1 minute.




Add besan and cook for 30 second.




Switch off the flame. Add curd, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, water mix well. Now again start the flame and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.




Serve hot with roti or rice or bajre  or jawari ki roti.
