Masoor ( split Red Lentil ) Dal Soup ( Healthy and Delicious soup garnish with Curd)


Preparation Time - 1 hour
Cooking Time - 10 to 15 minutes

Serving - 2

Ingredients:
Masoor Dal ( Split red lentil) ,soaked - 1 / 2 cup
Onion, Chopped - 1 Medium
Tomato, Chopped - 2 Medium
Garlic Coves - 5 to 6
Oil - 1 Tablespoon
Cumin Seeds - 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Pepper Powder - 1 / 4 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Water - 1 Cup
Curd, whisked - 4 to 5 Tablespoons

Method :
Soak masoor dal for 1 hour.

Heat oil in kadai, add cumin seeds, onion, garlic and saute for 1 to 2 minutes.

Add tomato, soaked dal, salt, pepper powder, red chilli powder mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. add water and mix well, presser cook for 4 to 5 whistle .let it cool down.

Take one blender and blend dal mixture.

Take another pan, add blended mixture, cook till one boil.

Garnish with whisk curd, mint leaves. 

serve hot .



Tip : For garnishing i use curd to make this soup healthy, you can use cream .
