Urad Dal Kofta In Spinach Gravy

Ingredients For Kofta:

Skinless Urad Dal , soaked - 1/2 cup
Salt To Taste
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
Hing - Pinch Of
Garam Masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
Water As Required
Chopped Green chilly - 1 Teaspoon
Chopped Ginger - 1/2 Teaspoon
Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - Pinch Of
Oil - For Deep Frying

Method For Kofta:

Drain and put urad dal in mixer jar . Add some water and blend like smooth paste and transfer into bowl . Add Salt , red chilli powder , hing , garam masala  , chopped ginger , choppedgreen chilly , cumin seeds , turmeric powder and whisk well .
Pick up small amount of mixture with wet fingers and drop into hot oil deep fry till golden .

Ingredients For Gravy:

Palak ( Spinach) Paste - 1 cup
Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
Chopped Green Chilli - 2
Besan - 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder - Pinch Of
Water - 1/2 cup + 1/2 cup
Coriander Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Cumin Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Garam Masala - 2 Teaspoons
Fresh Cream - 2 Tablespoons
Lemon Juice - 1 Tablespoon

Method:

Take one pan heat oil . Add Cumin seeds  , chopped green chilli , besan , turmeric powder  sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water. Add Coriander powder , cumin powder , salt and mix well .Cook For 5 minutes.
Add Palak Paste , 1/2 cup water , mix well.
Add Garam masala  . cover the lead and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add Cream , mix well and cook for 1 minute. Switch off the flame . Add Lemon juice and  urad dal kofta and mix well .
Serve Hot .
